Osu Shopping Arcade

East of the Osu Kannon Temple is a shopping district selling pop-culture merchandise, Japanese souvenirs, and a range of other goods. A giant maneki-neko (beckoning or lucky cat) sits above a major intersection in the shopping streets, and the area below serves as a popular meeting place and street performance location.
